Solution

Dear student

The love for Lord Buddha and the cult of Buddhism became active and dynamic during Kanishka period. Perhaps one of the earliest figures of Buddha are found in Kanishka's coins and in the Peshawar casket.
The term 'Bodhisattva' has a dual significance. In one sense it means an individual worked for salvation of humanity, in the second sense it meant the past manifestations of Buddha.
Kanishka likewise undertook the policy of propagating his religion to far of nations including Tibet, China, Burma and Japan.
From the accounts of Hiuen Tsang and Al Beruni, it is known that Kanishka constructed the incredible relic tower at Peshawar, which was renowned all through the Buddhist world.
