Area of the square =x sq. units
Let the side be a
Area of the square =a2=x
x=a2 ....(i)
Perimeter of square =4a units
If a circle is made with the same wire then its circumference is equal to the perimeter of the square.
Circumference of the circle =2πr
2πr=4a
πr=2a
r=2πa
Area of the circle
=πr2
=π(2aπ)2 =4a2π
=2a2π=722×4a2
=2a2π=14a211
=14x11
Area of the circle =14x11 sq units.
