The correct option is A
10 mm

String `A` is starting from 1 cm.
$∴$ Subtract 1 cm from 9 cm.
Lenght of string A
$= 9 c m - 1 c m = 8 c m$

String `B` is starting from 3 cm.
$∴$ Subtract 3 cm from 10 cm.
Length of string B
$= 10 c m - 3 c m = 7 c m$

Thus, the difference in length of String `A` and String `B`
$= 8 c m - 7 c m = 1 c m = 10 m m$

$∴$ The length of string A is more than string B by 10 mm.
