Let the selling price of a one mtr cloth is = Rs $x$

The selling price of $33$ mtr cloth is Rs $33x$

The selling price of $3$ mtr cloth is $3x$.

Selling price of $3$ mtr. Cloth = Loss = Rs. $3x$

Then,

According to given question,

$Loss=C.P.-S.P.Loss=C.P.-S.P.$

$3x=C.P.-33x$

$C.P.=3x+33x$

$C.P.=36x$

Now,

$Loss\%=\frac{loss}{C.P.}\times 100$

$Loss\%=\frac{3x}{36x}\times 100$

$Loss\%=\frac{100}{12}\%=\frac{25}{3}\%=8\frac{1}{3}\%.$
