CP= Cost Price of the carpet

SP= Selling Price of the carpet

Now,

Loss=CP of $33m$ of carpet- SP of $33m$ of carpet

or, SP of $3m$ of carpet$=$CP of $33m$ of carpet$-$ SP of $33m$ of carpet

or, SP of $3m$ of carpet$+$ SP of $33m$ of carpet$=$CP of $33m$ of carpet

or, SP of $36m$ of carpet=CP of $33m$ of carpet

Let CP of $1m$ of carpet be $Rs.x$

CP of $36m$ of carpet $=Rs.36x$

SP of $36m$ of carpet=CP of $33m$ of carpet $=Rs.33x$
