The correct option is C ₹ 1152

Given,
SP of speaker = ₹ 768
Loss% = 20%

We know,
SP = CP ×
{(100 - Loss%)/100}

Now, putting the given value in the formula

⇒768 = CP × {(100 - 20)/100}
⇒CP = (768 × 100)/80
⇒CP = 960

For gain of 20%,

SP = CP{(100 + gain%)/100}
= 960{(100 + 20)/100}
= 960 × (120/100)
= 96 ×
12
= 1152

So, the shopkeeper should sell the speaker for ₹ 1152
