S.P of the umbrella=Rs.300
Gain=20%
then C.P $= \frac{100}{120} \times 300 = R s . 250$
If he gave a rebate of 10 % of M.P then S.P= $300 - \frac{10}{100} \times 300 = R s .270$
Profit $= 270 - 250 = R s .20$
Profit% $= \frac{20}{250} \times 100 = 8 %$
