Solution

Perimeter of Bedroom 1
= 2(3.04 + 3.04) m
= 2(6.08) m
= 12.16 m

Perimeter of Bedroom 2
= 2(3.04 + 2.43) m
= 2(5.47) m
= 10.94 m

Perimeter of Living Room
= 2(3.81 + 7.53) m
= 2(11.34) m
= 22.68 m

Perimeter of Dining Room
= 2(5.41 + 5.48) m
= 2(10.89) m
= 21.78 m

Perimeter of Family Room
= 2(4.57 + 5.48) m
= 2(10.05) m
= 20.10 m

Total perimeter of all the five rooms

= 12.16 m + 10.94 m + 22.68 m + 21.78 m + 20.10 m
= 87.66 m

Given, cost of moulding each room = 500 per m

Total cost of moulding all five rooms
=87.66×500=43830
