Solution
Dental plaque indicates a sticky, pale yellowish layer of food particles and bacterial cells that deposits on the teeth.
If they are not cleaned regularly then it causes tooth decay.
Prevention:
(i) Brushing teeth daily after eating food prevents the formation of plaque.
(ii) Floss between teeth should be done at least once a day in order to remove food particles and bacteria.
(iii) Using an antibacterial mouth rinse to reduce microorganisms that cause plaque and gum disease.
