Solution

The correct option is A CH2=CHCOOH
CaC2H2OCHCHACu2Cl2−−−NH4ClCHCCu+B1 equiv HCl−−−−−−CHCClMg/ether−−−−−CHCMgClCO2/H2O/H+−−−−−−−−CH2=CHCOOH

CaC2 on hydrolysis gives C2H2 which on reacting with Cu2Cl2 in NH4Cl forms vinyl acetylene. Vinyl acetylene with 1 eqv. HCl undergoes electrophilic addition reaction giving chloroprene which reacts with Mg/ether gives a grignard reagent (RMgX) followed by carboxylation giving carboxylic acid.
Option A is correct.
