100 gms of CaCO3 \rightarrow 56 gm of CaO + 44 gms of CO2

When 100 gms of CaCO3 is heated 44 gms of CO2 is liberated.

Therefore when 25 gms of CaCO3 is heated the amount of CO2 liberated =11gms
