Calculate the amount of energy available for plant in the following food chain, if lions have 20 J of
energy. Plant → Deer → Lion.

Dear Student

According to 10% law, only 10 % of energy is transferred to next trophic level. Hawk will get only 10% energy of snakes and snake will get only 10% energy of rat and so on.
If 20 J is available to lion then deer will get 200 J and then plants will have 2000 J.
