We are given, the

Diameter of circle

is d = 16 m.

So, radius = $\frac{16}{2}=8m$.

Now, Area of shaded region

= Area of circle - Area of $△ABC$.

In $△ABC$ Height is 8 m

& base is 16 m

Area of Circle = $\pi r^2=\pi (8{)}^2$

$=64\pi m^2$

& Area of $△ABC=\frac{1}{2}\times b\times h$

$=\frac{1}{2}\times 16\times 8$

$=64m^2$

So, Area of shaded region

is $=64\pi -64$

$=64(\pi -1)$

$=64(3.14-1)$

$=64\left(2.14\right)$

$=136.96m^2$
