Molar mass of methyl alcohol = 34 g

Vapour density = molar mass/2 = 34/2 = 17



Number of moles of 160 g of methanol = 160/34 =4.70

Volume of 1 mole of gas at s.t.p = 22.4 L

Number of moles in 112 L of gas = 112/22.4 = 5
