Question

Calculate the weight of CO having same no. of oxygen atoms present in 88gms of CO2.

Open in App
Solution

Molar Mass of CO2=44g

No of oxygen atoms in CO2 = 2× 88/44 × Avogadro's constant

no of oxygen atoms = weight of CO/28 × Avogadro's constant

no of oxygen atoms in CO2 = no of oxygen atoms in CO

2× 88/44 = weight of CO/28

weight of CO = 112 g

Do it in a paper and study.

Thank you :)
