Can a molecule be aromatic even if it can't show mesomeric effect or resonance?

Every atom in the ring must be conjugated which means every atom in the ring must participate in resonance and every atom in the ring must have an available p orbital.
So,a molecule can't be aromatic if it can't show resonance or mesomeric effect.
