Open in App
Solution

Fungus-like protists:

  1. Fungus-like protists generally move through pseudopods i.e., false feet.
  2. Fungus-like protists are unicellular protists who do not have any appendages for movement. Fungus-like because they have sporangia.
  3. Fungus-like protists are grouped into 2 classes- Slime Mold and Water Mold. These fungi have a complex life cycle.
  4. Their life-cycle alternates between two phases- animal-like phases when they are motile and plant-like phases when they are immotile. They absorb food from dead organic matter.
