Ecosystem services are the benefits provided by nature to us for example mitigating floods, purifying air, providing wildlife habitats, soil formation. The value of these services are very difficult to determine.

Part 2: Price tag
A price tag on these services are very difficult to put as they would be enormously expensive. Robert Constanza tried to put a price tag and researches put an average price tag of US 33 trillion a year.
