Solution

Dear student,
There is no such term called absolute rest or absolute motion and the terms rest and motions are relative. A body is moving with respect to a body which is kept at rest but the same moving body may be in rest with respect to another moving body with same speed.
So as we know, the object which is in rest, actually is not changing its position with respect to surrounding. As the earth is moving itself so anything that lie on the earth surface is in motion. So we can conclude that the object which is at rest in comparison to the rest of its surroundings, is in rest, but not in absolute rest.
