Solution

Nitrification :
It is the process of conversion of ammonia to nitrites and to nitrates.
This is an intermediate step of nitrogen cycle in which nitrogen is converted into another usable form by bacteria, such as Nitrosomonas.

Ammonification:- It is the conversion of dead organic matter into ammonia. It is mostly performed by fungi and some nitrogen fixing bacteria.

Denitrification - It is the conversion of nitrates into atmospheric nitrogen. It is performed by pseudomonas.
