Quantity of calcium in it = 10% of 1000 g
= $\left(\frac{10}{100}\times 1000\right)$ g = 100 g
Quantity of oxygen in it = 12% of 1000 g
= $\left(\frac{12}{100}\times 1000\right)$ g = 120 g
