The correct option is B electrons
The charge carries in a thermocouple are electrons. Since, when one end(junction) of thermocouple is kept at greater temperature than other one, electric current is induced there due to electrons. Electrons at hot end are thermally more energized than electrons at cooler end hence, begin to drift towards cooler end and constitutes the current. Due to diffusion of electrons at cooler end its potential becomes more negative than hot end.
