Given: The electric field of the wave is E=3.1NC1×cos[(1.8radm1)y+(5.4×108rads1)t]^i
To find: The wavelength of the electromagnetic wave.

The standard equation for the electric field is:
E=E0cos(ky+ωt) .........(i)
On comparing the equation of field with standard equation, We get,
k=1.8radm1,
We know that,
k=2πλ
So,
λ=2πk2×π1.8=3.5m

So, option (D) is correct.
