Solution

The correct option is B

I- Variable region, II - Antigen binding site , III- Light chain, IV-Constant region, V - heavy chain , VI - disulfide bonds

The Y shaped antibody consists of two short or light polypeptide chains and two long or heavy polypeptide chains. Disulfide linkages are present between the two heavy chains. The light chains have a variable region and a constant region. The heavy chain has one variable region and three constant regions. The variable region of around 110 amino acids, gives the antibody its specificity for binding antigen. Using the binding mechanism, an antibody can tag a microbe for destruction.
