Choose the correct order of blood flow from the heart to body and back to the heart.
Arteries → Arterioles → Capillaries → Venules → Veins
Arteries are blood vessels that carry the blood away from the heart to all parts of the body. It subdivides into arterioles which extend the reach of the arteries. These vessels further divide into capillaries which are the smallest blood vessels. It is here that the exchange of nutrients and waste takes place between the vessels and tissues. The blood carrying carbon dioxide and waste is collected and gathered by venules. These venules connect with the veins which transport deoxygenated blood back towards the heart.
