The deoxygenated blood reaches the right atrium first and then to the right ventricle. From there the deoxygenated blood reaches the lungs through the pulmonary arteries. In lungs, the deoxygenated blood gets converted into oxygenated blood. After this, the blood from the lung travels through the pulmonary vein to reach the left atrium. This oxygenated blood then reaches the tissues of the entire body by aorta.
