Solution

The correct option is C Heart failure, cardiac arrest and heart attack are all synonymous terms
The human heart is myogenic and is regulated by the medulla oblangata and other chemical receptors throughout the body.

Angina pectoris is the severe acute chest pain that is mostly caused due to CAD (Coronary Artery Disease), because of which, the heart muscle does not get enough oxygen. It is found to be more prevalent in middle-aged and elderly individuals.

Heart failure is when the heart muscle does not pump the required amount of blood which is needed by the various parts of the body.

Cardiac arrest is when the heart abruptly stops beating. Without prompt medical intervention, it can lead to death.

Heart attack may be caused due to a clot or a plaque formed in the arteries which pump blood to the heart. This disrupts the flow of the blood to the heart which in turn damages the heart muscles.

In CAD (Coronary Artery Disease), deposits of calcium, fat, cholesterol and fibrous tissues in the arteries narrow down the lumen of the arteries thereby causing a hindrance to the blood flow through the arteries to the heart muscles.
