Solution

The correct option is A

Spermiogenesis, spermiation, transport of sperms through accessory ducts, ejaculation.

Spermatogenesis is the process of formation of sperms. It starts at puberty.

During this process, haploid spermatids are formed which is followed by spermiogenesis.

The process in which the spermatids transform into sperms is called spermiogenesis.

After spermiogenesis, the sperm heads get embedded in the Sertoli cells and draw nourishment.

This is followed by the release of sperms from Sertoli cells into the lumen of seminiferous tubules.

Release of sperms into the seminiferous tubules is called spermiation.

The sperms from the seminiferous tubules pass through the various male accessory ducts during which they attain the maturity.

Discharge of sperms along with seminal fluid from the male reproductive system is called ejaculation.

Hence the correct sequence of events is:
spermiogenesis, spermiation, transport of sperms through accessory ducts, ejaculation.
