Classify the following into luminous and non-luminous objects.

Some objects can produce light on their own whereas others cannot. Objects that produce light on their own are called luminous objects. Objects that cannot and do not produce light on their own are called non-luminous objects. In the given options firefly, lamp(on), stars produce light on their own. So they are luminous objects. The remaining options football and water bottle won’t produce the light. Lamp in off position also do not produce light. So they are non-luminous objects.
