Clouds are formed because of -
Consecutive condensation and evaporation of water.
Warm air rises up taking water vapour with it. As it goes up, it loses heat and the amount of water vapour that can be held by air decreases. This causes condensation of water and clouds are formed in the form of bulk of suspended water droplets.
