CoCl3.3NH3 gives no ppt because it does not dissociate in solution.
Number of particles in solution =1 i.e the molecule itself CoCl3.5NH3 gives 2 moles AgCl ppt because it dissociate as follows
CoCl3.5NH3[Co(NH3)5Cl]2++2Cl
It gives 3 ions on dissociation.
its van't Hoff factor is 3.
