The correct option is B Distance of A < Distance of B
We know that the distance of a rational number from zero on the number line is its absolute value.

So, the distance from the starting point to A = |-2| units = 2 units
Distance from the starting point to B = |3| units = 3 units

Here , |-2| < |3|

Hence, the distance of point A is nearer to the the starting point (origin) than point B, i.e.,
Distance of A < Distance of B

Therefore, option (b) is the correct answer.
