2.7 x 10^14 / 1.5 x 10^8
= 2.7 x 10^4 / 1.5
=( 27/10 x 10000) / (15/10)
=18000/1
= 18000 : 1

2) 4 x 10^14 / 3 x 10^17
= 4/(3 x10^3)
= 4/3000
=1/750
= 1:750
