As we have ratios $7 : 14 a n d 6 : 12 i . e \frac{7}{14} a n d \frac{6}{12} = \frac{1 \times 6}{2 \times 6} = \frac{1}{2}$
Now firstly we will make the denominator equal
$\frac{1}{2} = \frac{1 \times 7}{2 \times 7} = \frac{7}{14}$
We can see here As $\frac{7}{14} = \frac{7}{14}$
So, $7 : 14 = 6 : 12$
