TCA cycle or Kreb's cycle takes place in the mitochondria. Pyruvic acid produced during glycolysis is converted to acetyl-CoA and enters this cycle. Acetyl part of acetyl-CoA is completely oxidised during TCA cycle and H2O, NADH2, FADH2, CO2 are formed.
