(ii) What can be the impact of global warming on water cycle?	(b) Global warming intensifies the water cycle, leading to an increase in river discharge. Due to global warming, the surface of the Earth becomes extremely dry at some places, and extremely wet at the other areas. The rate of precipitation also increases. Hence, water cycle gets influenced by global warming, thereby inducing change in the patterns of rainfall.
