2. C6H5N2ClWater−−−−−−Room tempC6H5OH(phenol)
Benzene diazonium chloride is stable at 05oC but when temperature is raised to room temperature it loses N2 molecule to give phenyl cation(unstable ). Water molecule attacks the cation to form phenol.
