We know that if 'l' is the length of the rectangle and 'b' is its breadth, then its perimeter is given by

P=l+b+l+b=(2×l)+(2×b)

Given P=24 cm and l=6 cm

Then,

P=(2×l)+(2×b)

b=P(2×l)2

i.e., b=24(2×6)2=6 cm

Hence, breadth will be same as its length.
