The Indian National Army (INA; Azad Hind Fauj; lit.: Free Indian Army) was an armed force formed by Indian nationalist Rash Behari Bose in 1942 in Southeast Asia during World War II. Its aim was to secure Indian independence from British rule.

The names of the INA’s three Brigades were the Subhas Brigade, Gandhi Brigade and Nehru Brigade. There is also a women brigade on the name of Lakshami bai.
