Karl Landsteiner in 1900 had devised ABO blood grouping based on the presence of antigen on the surface of RBC. It is an example of dominance, codominance, and multiple alleles. O blood group belongs to those individuals who neither have A antigen nor B antigen. The ABO blood groups can further be divided as Rh positive ( which have Rh antigen ) and Rh-negative ( which do not have Rh antigen ). Blood group O-ve is considered to be the universal donor and AB +ve as universal acceptor. However, these terms are only generally true with respect to the possible interaction of the recipient anti-A and anti-B antibodies to transferred red blood cells.
Hence correct answer is option C.
