The Supreme court and High courts simultaneously have the power to issue writs for the enforcement of fundamental rights, however, the power of the supreme court is narrower than high court because supreme court is empowered to issue writs only against violation of fundamental rights whereas the high court can issue writs for the enforcement of other rights also such as legal rights.
