Draw a line segment PQ = 4cm.
Construct an angle of 45 at point Q.
Cut off PR = 4.5cm
Take P as a center with radius equal to QR and draw an arc.
Take R as a center with radius 4cm, draw an arc meeting previous arc at point S.
Join PR, PS, QS and RS.
Draw RT PS
Measure length PS and RT.
l(PS)=b=6.3cm and l(RT)=h=2.84cm
Area of parallelogram PQRS=b×h=6.3×2.84
Area of parallelogram PQRS=17.89cm217.9cm2
