Construct a quadrilateral ABCD given AB = 5.6 cm, BC = 4.1, CD = 4.4 cm, AD = 3.3 cm and ∠A=75∘ [3 MARKS]
Steps : 1 Mark
Construction : 2 Marks
Steps of constructions :
1. Construct △ABD using SAS [We know AB = 5.6 cm, AD = 3.3 cm and ∠A=75∘ ] construction method.
2. With D as centre draw an arc of radius 4.4 cm.
3. With B as centre draw an arc of radius 4.1 cm.
4. Since point C lies on both DC and BC, point of intersection of these two arcs is C. Name it as C
5 . Join DC and BC to complete the quadrilateral.
6. ABCD is the required quadrilateral.
