Construct a quadrilateral ABCD in which AB=4.4 cm, BC=4 cm, CD=6.4 cm,DA=2.8 cm and BD=6.6 cm. [ 3 MARKS]

Construction: 2 Marks
Steps of construction :

1. Draw a line segment BD of length 6.6 cm.
2. With B as center and radius of 4 cm, draw an arc.
3. With D as center and radius of 6.4 cm, draw an arc.
4. These two arcs intersect at a point C.
5. Join BC and DC.
6 Similarly construct a ΔBAD with BD as base and BA=4.4 cm and DA=2.8 cm.
7. Join BA and DA.
8. ABCD is the required quadrilateral.
