2. With $B$ as center and radius of $4 c m,$ draw an arc.
3. With $D$ as center and radius of $6.4 c m,$ draw an arc.
4. These two arcs intersect at a point $C .$
5. Join $B C$ and $D C .$
6 Similarly construct a $Δ B A D$ with $B D$ as base and $B A = 4.4 c m$ and $D A = 2.8 c m .$
7. Join $B A$ and $D A .$
8. $A B C D$ is the required quadrilateral.
