Construct a rhombus ABCD, with AC=6 cm and BD=4.6 cm.
In the rhombus, diagonals bisect each other perpendicularly.
Steps of construction :
1. Draw a line segment AC of length 6 cm.
2. Draw a perpendicular bisector for AC. Let the point of intersection be O.
3. With O as the center, draw two arcs of radius 2.3 cm on either side of AC.
[BD=4.6 cm⇒OB=OD=2.3 cm]
4. Name them as D and B. Join AD,CD,AB and CB to complete the rhombus ABCD.
5. ABCD is the required rhombus.
