Construct a rhombus ABCD, with AC=6 cm and BD=4.6 cm.

In the rhombus, diagonals bisect each other perpendicularly.

Steps of construction :

1. Draw a line segment AC of length 6 cm.

2. Draw a perpendicular bisector for AC. Let the point of intersection be O.

3. With O as the center, draw two arcs of radius 2.3 cm on either side of AC.

[BD=4.6 cmOB=OD=2.3 cm]

4. Name them as D and B. Join AD,CD,AB and CB to complete the rhombus ABCD.

5. ABCD is the required rhombus.
