Construct a ABC, when:
AB=6.0 cm,AC=8.0 cm and BC=7.5 cm.

Solution

To construct a triangle with three given sides,
1. First draw the base , say AB=6cm
2. Set the width of the compass as the second side AC=8.0cm and draw an arc from A on any one side of the line segment AB
3. Similarly, set the width of the compass as the third side BC=7.5cm and draw an arc from B on the same side of the line segment AB as done in Step 2
4. Mark the intersection of the two arcs as C
5. Join points A,C and B,C using a ruler.
6. ABC is a required triangle.
