Steps of construction:

(1) Draw a sufficiently long line segment using a ruler.

(2) Locate points P and Q on it such that PQ = 5.4 cm.

(3) Construct a sufficiently long line segment QM at Q such that ∠PQR = 55°.

(4) With Q as the centre and radius 5.5 cm, draw an arc that cuts QM at R.

(5) Join PR.

Then, PQR is the required triangle.
