Open in App
Solution

Given, to construct a ΔPQR
in which QR=6 cm, PQ=4.4 cm and PR=53 cm
Also given to draw the bisector of P.
Construction steps:
(1) Firstly, draw a line segment QR=6 cm.
(2) Now, taking Q as the centre, draw an arc of 4.4 cm radius.
(3) Similarly, taking R as the centre and 5.3 cm radius, draw another arc that intersects the previous arc at P.
(4) Join PQ and PR. Thus, ΔPQR is the required triangle.
(5) From point P draw an arc such that it intersects line segment QR.
(6) Now from Q or R cut the arc.
(8) Now joint the intersection point of arc to P.
(9) Having joined the intersection point, angle bisector of P is obtained.
(10) Thus, required figure is obtained.
