Construct LMN such that LM = 6.6 cm , LMN = 65° and ND is median and ND = 5 cm.

Steps of construction:
(i) Draw a line segment LM = 6.6 cm.
(ii) Through L, draw LX such that MLX= 65°.
(iii) Draw LYLX.
(iv) Draw the perpendicular bisector of LM intersecting LY at O and LM at D.
(v) With O as the centre and OL as the radius, draw a circle.
(vi) The major arc LWM of the circle contains the vertical 65°.
(vii) With D as the centre, draw an arc of radius 5 cm meeting the circle at N and N'.
Thus, LMN or LMN' is the required triangle.
